Stay in a guest house
A guest house is an institution that is affiliated to a hospital. Visiting family members may stay in a guest house during your stay in hospital. The Ronald McDonald House is an example of a guest house.
When will you qualify for reimbursement?
If you have been admitted to a hospital, you will qualify for the reimbursement of the costs incurred when your partner or a relative that lives with you at the same address stays in a guest house. The family member must be insured at HollandZorg too. The reimbursement will apply for the total number of visiting family members that stay at the guest house.
The guest house must be affiliated to the hospital where you are admitted. Is there no guest house near by or is there no room available, then you are entitled to reimbursement of stay in a boarding house.
When submitting a claim for an invoice for a stay in a guest house, include proof of the hospital admission.
