The MammaPrint is a test that shows how aggressive a breast tumour is. A MammaPrint can help a medical specialist to decide whether chemotherapy is necessary once the tumour has been removed.
You will require a prescription from a medical specialist for a MammaPrint. The prescription must show that your medical specialist feels that the MammaPrint has added value in your situation in comparison with the current treatment guidelines. When submitting a claim for an invoice, include a copy of the prescription.
Under our supplementary insurance, you qualify for reimbursement of the MammaPrint.

A hospital may do the MammaPrint. Use our Care Guide to find a hospital near you. Have you decided to go to a care provider with whom we have not made any agreements? If so, the rates set out in the Rate List for Non-Contracted Care will apply. If the rates charged by the non-contracted care provider are higher than our maximum rates, the difference will be for your account.
