1. What is other medical care (e.g. GP care)?
You are entitled to other medical care (e.g. GP care) comparable to GP care and for which the Dutch Care Authority has defined treatment descriptions. Other medical (GP) care includes medical care within the framework of individual care for tuberculosis and infectious diseases.
Other medical (GP) care does not cover preventive foot care.
2. Referral required
You need a referral from a general practitioner, nursing specialist, physician assistant or medical specialist.
3. Reimbursement under public healthcare insurance in 2021
Under the HollandZorg public healthcare insurance, you qualify for other medical care (e.g. GP care).

4. No statutory personal contribution
There is no statutory personal contribution for artificial respiration.
5. Policy excess
The costs incurred for other medical care (e.g. GP care) dot not count towards your compulsory policy excess and any voluntary policy excess.
6. Who may provide this type of care?
For medical care within the framework of individual care for tuberculosis and infectious diseases: a qualified and nationally registered doctor, the criteria for which are set by the KNMG's Board of Registration's Medical Specialists.
