When will you qualify for reimbursement?
If you have been admitted to a hospital, you will qualify for the reimbursement of the costs incurred when your partner or a relative that lives with you at the same address stays in a guest house. The family member must be insured at HollandZorg too. The reimbursement will apply for the total number of visiting family members that stay at the guest house.
The guest house must be affiliated to the hospital where you are admitted. Is there no guest house near by or is there no room available, then you are entitled to reimbursement of stay in a boarding house.
When submitting a claim for an invoice for a stay in a guest house, include proof of the hospital admission.

We will reimburse a maximum of € 25,- per day for stay in a guest house, up to a maximum amount per calendar year. Is the price for a stay higher than our maximum reimbursement? In this situation, you will pay the difference yourself.
No policy excess
The cost of reimbursements under the supplementary insurance will not count towards the policy excess.
Which can you use?For a stay, you can use a guest house that is affiliated to a hospital or, if there is no room available, a boarding house.

Maximum rates for a non-contracted care provider
If, for care included in the public healthcare insurance, you choose a healthcare provider with whom we have not made any agreements, the rates in the Rate list for non-contracted care will apply. Do the rates charged by the non-contracted healthcare provider exceed our maximum rates? In that case, the difference will be payable by you. This will apply for reimbursement both under the public healthcare insurance, and the supplementary insurance.
