Do you reside or work in the Netherlands? In most cases, you are obliged to take out public healthcare insurance. This is a Dutch health insurance with a basic package of reimbursements that is the same for everyone. The content of the basic package is stipulated by the Dutch government on an annual basis. The public healthcare insurance provides cover for the most necessary care, such as hospitalisation, emergency help and general practitioner.
With the compulsory public healthcare insurance in the Netherlands, you are entitled to most of the necessary healthcare. Supplementary insurance offers you more security. The HollandZorg supplementary insurance contracts offer reimbursements that may be of interest to you. They include repatriation to your country of origin in the event of illness or death, and urgent dental care.
If you are 18 or older, you can take out supplementary insurance for dental costs with HollandZorg. You can choose from three different dental insurances. Each type of dental insurance reimburses 75% of all costs, subject to a maximum amount per year. Select the dental insurance with the reimbursement that suits you best.
