When will you qualify for reimbursement?
If you have been admitted to a hospital, you will qualify for the reimbursement of the costs incurred when your partner or a relative that lives with you at the same address stays in a guesthouse. The family member must be insured at HollandZorg too. The reimbursement will apply for the total number of visiting family members that stay at the guesthouse.
The guesthouse must be affiliated to the hospital where you are admitted. Is there no guesthouse near by or is there no room available, then you are entitled to reimbursement of stay in a boarding house.
When submitting a claim for an invoice for a stay in a guesthouse, include proof of the hospital admission.
Reimbursement guest house

Statutory personal contribution
We will reimburse a maximum of € 25,- per day for stay in a guest house, up to a maximum amount per calendar year. Is the price for a stay higher than our maximum reimbursement? In this situation, you will have to pay the difference yourself.
Excess
The cost of reimbursements under the supplementary insurance will not count towards the policy excess.
Which guesthouse can you use?
For a stay, you can use a guesthouse that is affiliated to a hospital or, if there is no room available, a boarding house.Please note:

Maximum rates for a non-contracted care provider
Have you chosen a healthcare provider with whom we have no contract? Then, we will reimburse according to our maximum rates. If the rate invoiced by the non-contracted care provider is higher than our maximum rates, you will have to pay the difference yourself. You will be able to find contracted care providers with our Care finder.
